  • An organisation based just outside of the city, is looking for volunteers to work alongside their skilled children’s workers. This is an excellent opportunity for people who love the outdoors and want to gain experience in working with children with a range of needs. Children are grouped into teams of up to 4 children with 1 or 2 members of staff. The volunteer’s role is to complement staff by: being a positive role model, engaging the children in conversation and assisting the member of staff in planned activities. If you have an interest in horticulture and / or agriculture and a farm environment, then you would enjoy this opportunity. You will not be left in sole charge of children but you do need to be fit enough to walk 3 – 4 miles per day!! So, if you can spare any time between Mon – Fri, 10.00am – 2.00pm, contact us for more details.                                                     LAH 191
